Sculptures in the Garden – Mudgee: – Al will again be exhibiting at Sculptures in the Garden in Mudgee.  Open for two days only and featuring more than 200 sculptures.  Open 10 – 4 Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th.

Royal Botanic Gardens – Sydney. Held by the friends of the Botanic Gardens.  Lions gate cottage.  Opening Friday 9th October 2015.

September 2015

Hidden A rookwood sculpture walk: – Al will be exhibiting at the Rookwood cemetry as a part of the annual sculpture exhibition.  The exhibition will be featured amongst the graves in one of the older sites of the cemetery and neighbouring areas. With views of the city on the horizon, this site offers artists a rare opportunity to showcase their work in an extremely thought provoking context.  Exhibition opens 18th September.

Sculpture in the Paddock: – Al will be exhibiting in the third ‘Sculpture in the Paddock’.  The paddock at Cooma Cottage, Yass(Home of Hamilton Hume), will be transformed into a sculpture walk for 4 days a week for 4 weeks in September/October.  Opening by Shane Breynard and Genevieve Jacobs on Friday 18th September, and continueing until Sunday 11th October.

Harbour Sculpture: – This exhibition comprises of: Harbour Sculpture Outside and Harbour Sculpture Inside.   Friday 30 July – Monday 10 August2013;  Larger works displayed along shoreline adjacent to Deckhouse and along the Sydney Harbour foreshore of Clarkes Point Reserve, Woolwich.

 Pyrmont Food, Wine and Art Festival: – Al will be exhibiting in Pirrama park on 16th and 17 May as part of the art festival showcasing Sculptors involved with Mudgee’s ‘Sculptures in the Gaden’

Sutton Grange: – Al will be exhibiting with a group of Sculptors in the Grounds of Sutton Grange in the mountains of the Macedon Ranges.  The gardens will be open fron November 1st until mid December.

The High Sheriff of Kent: – Al will have works at the garden party, in the grounds of The High Sheriff of Kent, UK.  July 10th

Lakeside: – As a part of the Centenary of Canberra, Tuggeranong art centre is holding a sculpture exhibition on the shore of Lake Tuggeranong.  Opening 13th September, continueing Sat &Sun, Lake Tuggeranong, ACT.

Jugiong Art Show: – Group art exhibition, fund-raiser for Jugiong Church. Cocktail party opening Friday 22nd November, continuing Sat & Sun. Jugiong NSW.

Sculpture in the Street: – Sculpture in the Street will showcase local Canberra sculptors and installation artists. In Canberra’s Centenary year.

Art a la Palette: – Al and a group of his friends will be exhibiting at Mt Ashby Winery  – Mossvale, NSW.  An exhibition of sculptural and painted works at Mt Ashby.  Opening 4.00PM Sat 4th May, continuing til Sunday 12th(mothers day)

Artanica: – Al has been invited to exhibit at ‘Artanica’ in Mt Macedon.  a major event on the Mt. Macedon & District Horticultural Society’s calendar. Sculpture at Scenic World, Katoomba: – Al will be exhibiting with 35 other artists at the second Sculpture at scenic world.  Exhibition runs from April 24th until May 19th.

Mick: – Al is joining with 7 other sculptors for the first sculpture show at ‘MICK’, 44 Gurner St, Paddington.  Opening Thursday 7th June and running til the end of the month.

Toorak Sculpture Festival: – Al will again be taking part in the 11th annual sculpture festival in the shopping precinct in Toorak.  Sculptures will be displayed for the entire month of May, in shop windows and as feature displays on the footpath.

Sculpture in the Vineyards: Located in the Hunter valley, several vineyards will participate in the exhibition. The areas are large and the works are diverse. Starts October 2 and runs until January 22, 2012.

Al has won the major prize at Sculpture in the Vineyards: – Al’s sculpture has been selected for the aquisitional prize at sculpture in the vineyards, and the sculpture will be displayed in the public domain in the lower hunter valley.

September 2011

The 3rd Dimension: – Al will again be taking part in the sculpture exhibition at Jayes Gallery and Sculpture Garden.  Gidley St, Molong.  September 25th – December 21st.

Kings: – Group exhibition to raise money for the Kings school.  Opening with a cocktail party on Friday 27th August.  Exhibition continuing Sat & Sun 28th & 29th.

ANU Residency: – Al has won a 3 week residency at the ANU art school.  He will be experimenting and learning new techniques and using new processes.

May/June 2010

Paris & the UK: Al has spent May and the beginning of June travelling in the UK.  He and his family had an amazing tour of artistic discovery.  This time with family in a place of beauty and history, will influence Al’s work in years to come.

Lake light Sculpture. Al will be exhibiting at Jindabyne over the easter weekend, April 3rd and 4th.
Al has been sucessful – winning a major sculpture prize at the Lakelight sculpture exhibition.  He will work as Artist in Residence at the ANU School of Art later this year.
